  • June 30, 2010 -- Our Chapter, along with several aviation businesses and Missoula Airport, will be hosting "A Day at the Airport" for approximately 55 Upward Bound youth. Our Chapter will be providing airplane rides to the participants. If you want to help fly kids, please contact Gary Weyermann at 406-546-8488. If you want to help in some other capacity, please call Ray Aten at 721-0531.

  • The chapter holds a monthly pancake breakfast at the hanger at Stevensville Airport (32S), 3rd Saturday, April-October 0900-1200

  • "Flyouts" are impromptu Saturday flying adventures, weather permitting, announced via email. Participants meet at one of the area airports and "fly out" to a remote site or other airport. As with most flying activities, flyouts invariably involve food. The Montana version of the "$100 hamburger" may involve landing on a frozen lake, a sandy beach, wilderness airstrip, or a private resort airstrip. Many are group adventures to area aviation-related events.

  • The chapter holds an Annual Chili Tasting event at the hanger in mid-winter. Check the Calendar for dates. Watch here and in the next February newsletter for more details.
